Dr Osama joined Allied Diagnostics Sharjah in June 2010, bringing more than 20 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging to the company.
Originating from Egypt, he completed his primary medical degree with honours in 1985 at Cairo University. Dr Osama spent his residency training and practice in radiodiagnosis from 1986-1989 at Cairo University Hospital and Alazhar University Hospital. He completed his masters degree in 1989 and worked as assistant lecturer at the National Research Centre, Cairo University.
In 1991, he moved to Makkah, KSA where he worked in Rhabdaa Medical Centre as Specialist Radiologist. Dr Osama joined Shoaa Medical Centre in Riyadh, KSA in 1992 as a Senior Radiologist and Head of Radiology Department until 1999.
From 2000-2006, Dr Osama worked at King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh, KSA as the Chief Senior Specialist Radiologist. In 2001, he completed his M.D. Thesis at Alazhar University in Cairo and in 2004, he completed his FRCR post graduate degree (London), after which he taught residence within the hospital teaching program at King Khalid University Hospital.
In 2006, Dr Osama joined Dubai Hospital, UAE as Senior Specialist Radiologist and continued his teaching activities through lectures, seminars and case presentations. He held a post as a member of the teaching staff in clinical radiology at Dubai Health Authority. He was also a member of the scientific medico-legal committee and the scientific interview & licence committee at Dubai Health Authority.
Dr Osama is a general Radiologist with special interest in Thoracic Imaging and extensive experience in Musculoskeletal Imaging, Body Imaging and Angiography studies.
