Dr Mohamed Amin

Dr. Amin joined Allied Diagnostics in 2008, bringing his 22 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging to the company.

Originating from Egypt, he studied medicine from 1979-1985 at Ain Shams University, Cairo, one of the oldest Medical Schools in the Middle East region. After finishing his residency program in Ain Shams University Hospital (4000 General and Specialized beds) he spent his post residency training and practice in USA between 1992-1996; 2 years in Eastern Virginia Medical School, USA, as a cross sectional imaging fellow, then joined university of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA as visiting Lecturer II, then Visiting Ass. Professor in Angio-interventional Radiology Unit.

In 1998 he moved to Saudi German Hospitals Group in KSA where he was working as a consultant radiologist and head of radiology department from 1998-2008. In1999, Dr Amin joined Yale University, USA as a Visiting Attending Radiologist.

In 2001, Dr Amin Finished his Fellowship with the Royal College of Radiology.

In 2005, Dr. Amin was promoted as a Professor of Radiology in Egypt, where he was in charge of a post graduate training program and training for the fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology in Egypt.

In 2006, he worked in Jamaica International Imaging center.

In 2008 he joined the American Hospital in Dubai before joining Allied Diagnostics.

His area of special interest is in Neurological and Abdominal Imaging.
