Dr. Avani joined Allied Diagnostics in June 2008.
Originating from India, she graduated from B.J. Medical College, Gujarat University in 2004. B.J. Medical College is one of the oldest and largest Government Hospitals in Western India. After completing the graduation in Medicine, she took post-graduation in Radiology in B. J. Medical College. The Radiology Department in B. J. medical College has all the modalities including Digital X-rays, Special procedures, USG and Doppler, CT and MRI.
During her training as post-graduate student she held a post as resident doctor in the Radiology department and was involved in teaching the undergraduate medical students and participated in educational presentations. She stood second in Gujarat University in the post-graduate Radiology examination in April 2007.
After completing her post-graduate training in Clinical Radiology she joined Gujarat Imaging Center, Samved Hospital as a Radiologist in April 2007. Samved Hospital is a multispecialty hospital with all the latest imaging modalities. Dr. Avani specialized mainly in the Ultrasound, Mammography and Conventional Radiology in Samved Hospital until joining Allied Diagnostics. During this period one of her articles “Broncho-Pulmonary Dysplasia – A Case Report” was published in Gujarat Medical Journal, Feb 08 issue.
Her area of special interest lie in Obstetrics & Gynaecological studies.
